ABOUT THE ARTIST(S)
Paper Goats is the hobby work of Esther Trembley.
Now, since I've never liked talking in third person, I won't. My husband, Will, graciously gives me opinions and advice on work when solicited for it. Both Will and I have degrees in English. We love language. I am particularly interested in hand-lettering and calligraphy. Most of my work draws inspiration from Scandinavian folk art and 18th Century French architecture.
I have designed wedding invitations (among other papery goods) for a few friends, but this blog is mostly just me posting about the miscellaneous artsy projects I've been working on. To my dismay, sometimes projects are few and far between.

WHY GOATS?
Goats are loving, nurturing, and protective creatures. They are adventurous and strong, and have an innate desire to explore the world around them. Unafraid to consume brush, flowers, or branches, goats are able to survive in the simplest of settings. We strive to be like the goat; full of love, strength, adventure, and the ability to take-in the world around us for all it's worth.
